Asgard - Realm of the Aesir
The fortified home of the Aesir gods, connected to Midgard by the rainbow bridge Bifrost. A realm of golden halls and divine power at the top of Yggdrasil.
The Divine Realm
Asgard is the mightiest of the Nine Realms, home to the Aesir gods and their magnificent halls. Each major god has their own hall - Odin's Valhalla, Thor's Bilskirnir, Freyja's Folkvangr, and many others. The realm is surrounded by a great wall built by a giant (with Loki's interference preventing its completion).
The rainbow bridge Bifrost, guarded by Heimdall, connects Asgard to Midgard. This bridge will shatter during Ragnarok when Surtr and his fire giants cross it to attack the gods.
