Goddess of War, Healing, and Divine Vengeance
Sekhmet is the lioness-headed goddess of war, plague, and healing. The Eye of Ra sent to punish rebellious humanity, she became drunk on bloodlust until tricked by Ra into drinking beer dyed red. Consort of Ptah, mother of Nefertum. Both destroyer and healer - her priests were physicians who could cause or cure disease.
