Christian - Jesus Christ

At approximately thirty years of age, Jesus began his public ministry after being baptized by John the Baptist in the Jordan River. He gathered twelve disciples, including Peter, John, and Judas Iscariot. His ministry was marked by miraculous healings, exorcisms, the raising of the dead, and teachings about the Kingdom of God through parables and the Sermon on the Mount.

Passion, Death, and Resurrection

Jesus was betrayed by Judas, arrested by the Jewish authorities, and tried before Pontius Pilate. He was condemned to death by crucifixion, the Roman method of execution. According to the Gospels, Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day—Easter Sunday.
